Tradition Meet Tomorrow - The Chef Series - continues on Sunday 27th October, in partnership with award-winning Irish chef Ciaran Sweeney and Kerrygold Irish Butter. This time, we’re celebrating Samhain, a traditional Gaelic festival that signals the end of the harvest and the beginning of Winter - widely credited as the original Halloween. Ciaran is renowned for his soulful, delicious interpretations of traditional Irish food, particularly his Fermented Potato Bread with Bacon and Cabbage. He runs the kitchen at The Olde Glen bar in County Donegal, which the Michelin guide describes as “A remote inn that dates from the 1760s. Its somewhat modest façade gives little indication as to the charm and character that lies within.” As a multiple winner of Ulster Best Chef and Pub of the Year, Ciaran makes the long journey from the North West corner of Ireland. Expect innovative Irish pub bites paired with thought-provoking drinks from The Dead Rabbit team. Twinned with Irish craft and design and housed in the intimate Parlor bar, this is a perfect match, bringing two of the most iconic Irish pubs together.
